Project includes updating the existing stormwater conveyance under N Riverside Drive with stub outs to accommodate existing connections and future phased improvements identified in the Indialantic Drainage Study. The project will connect to a new drainage inlet being installed with the Phase 1b project in the SB lane, remove a temporary connection to the existing stormwater pipe and work north to eventually remove and improve the current stormwater infrastructure. There are several utility conflicts identified that are being addressed both before and during construction to minimize traffic disruptions. Joint project with Natural Resources Department to dredge and improve the Sand Dollar Canal outfall. Project will also incorporate gabion walls to improve water quality along the outfall and upgrade the existing cross drain under N. Riverside Drive to a box culvert. From the recently completed Indialantic Master Drainage Study, this represents Phase 1, 2, & 4 of 9 identified.

On January 7, 2026, City Council approved the next phase of road resurfacing, which includes curb replacements in select areas as well.
