Ad spots
- Homepage banner, below the lead story.
- Sidebar box on the homepage and section pages.
- In-story box, after the third paragraph of a story.
- Footer banner across the site.
- Sponsored content: a story you pay for, always labeled "Sponsored" and "Paid content from" your business, and kept out of our news lists.
How it works
You send us an image (we host it ourselves) and the link you want readers to visit. Ads run for the dates we agree on. Every ad is labeled "Advertisement". We don't use ad networks, tracking pixels or third-party scripts. If you want a report, we can share how many times your ad was shown and clicked, counted on our server without tracking readers.

Ad standards
We don't accept political attack ads, adult content, gambling, payday loans, or ads with misleading claims. We can refuse any ad.
Our newsroom is independent
Advertisers never influence our news coverage. Buying an ad doesn't buy a story, change a story, or keep a story from running.
