Wacky Pets of the Space Coast

Is your dog, cat, parrot or iguana doing something ridiculous? Send us the photo or video. When we have enough, we'll cut the best ones into a Wacky Pets compilation video, with credit to you.

What to send

  • Zoomies, weird nap spots, costume fails, dramatic sighs, sneaky snack heists: if it made you laugh, send it.
  • Photos or short videos you took yourself. Dogs, cats, birds, lizards and every other kind of pet are welcome.
  • No children in the shot. We can't use any photo or video that shows kids.
  • We review everything, and we may not use every submission.
Your pet's moment

Just the general area. Please don't share your street or address.

Up to 6 files. Photos: JPG, PNG or HEIC, up to 25 MB each. Videos: MP4 or MOV, up to 90 MB each (about a minute of phone video). 95 MB total.

About you

Shown with your photo or video, like "Video: Jamie R." Leave it blank to be credited as Anonymous.

Private. Only our news desk sees it, and we'll use it only to ask about your submission. It's never published, shared or added to a mailing list.

Please confirm all four required

We review every submission and may not use all of them. We don't pay for submissions. See the fine print below and our Privacy Policy.

The fine print (short version)

  • You keep ownership. You're giving us permission to use your photos and videos, not selling them.
  • How we may use them: on our website, social media accounts, newsletter and compilation videos. We may trim, crop, slow down, add music or captions, and combine your clip with others.
  • Credit: we'll use the credit name you give us, or "Anonymous."
  • Not everything runs. We pick what to use, and sending something doesn't mean we'll publish it.
  • Kids and people: we never use photos or videos that show children. Please keep other people, house numbers and license plates out of the shot too.
  • Be kind to animals. Don't put a pet in danger or distress for a clip. We won't use anything that looks unsafe or cruel.
  • Changed your mind? Email news@spacecoastwire.com and we'll stop using it in anything new. We can't pull back posts or videos that were already published or shared.
  • Location data: phone photos can hold hidden location info. We remove it from anything we publish.
