Aircraft data comes from our own ADS-B receiver, which hears the public signals aircraft broadcast. Records and summaries are published at least 15 minutes after the fact. The live map shows rounded positions from 5 minutes ago, limited to the Brevard area, with no receiver location, range rings or coverage outline. Aircraft that ask not to be identified, and private planes, are never named; general aviation shows as type counts only. Registration and operator are shown only for airline, military and government aircraft.
