Walter Butler, 33, of Rockledge, died after a shooting at about 2:18 a.m. Thursday in the parking lot of Graham's Beach Grill in unincorporated Cocoa Beach, the Brevard County Sheriff's Office said.

According to the sheriff's office, early findings show the two men argued over an earlier dispute, Butler attacked the other man, and that man fired one shot during the fight.

The shooter stayed at the scene, was questioned and was released while the investigation continues, the sheriff's office said.
