Before you send

• Tips are reviewed by our news desk.
• We can't promise to publish or investigate every tip.
• We verify before reporting. A tip on its own is never published as fact.
• Don't send anything you aren't allowed to share, such as confidential records you got through your job. Please leave out Social Security, bank and card numbers.
• This isn't a way to report a crime in progress. For emergencies, call 911.
